Solar farms can’t scale without high quality under-panel vegetation management, but today this task is manual, expensive, and a major bottleneck to farm efficiency and expansion. Noumenal is building the training and monitoring infrastructure layer for solar with an AI-first approach to under-panel maintenance using our proprietary specialized intelligent machine, Whiplash.
We have both a commercial and an academic partnership with a major global hardware company. We have secured a pilot and SOI from the largest U.S. solar vegetation provider.
We have a 2-month pilot launching April 15 with a global hardware partner on acreage managed by the largest vegetation provider in the U.S., culminating in the expected purchase and delivery of ~30 robots by December 2026. We are benchmarking our probabilistic teleoperation platform with the goal of licensing it to their existing robotics partners. Next year, we will expand our trimming solution into cemetery and residential markets.
