Isaac C. Anthony, III (known as Trey Anthony) is a seasoned executive leader and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, and corporate management across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clean energy sectors.
Currently, he serves as President and Co-Founder of RedShift Energy, Inc., a clean technology company based in the Greater Corpus Christi area. Since 2017, Trey has led the organization in collaboration with the board and executive team to define strategic goals, oversee operations, manage budgets, and allocate resources effectively. RedShift Energy focuses on an innovative plasma dissociation process that converts hydrogen sulfide (H₂S)—a byproduct of the oil and gas industry—into carbon-free hydrogen and sulfur, enabling low-cost hydrogen recovery (potentially under $1/kg) with no carbon emissions. The company has achieved notable milestones, including selection for accelerators like Halliburton Labs (2022), participation in events such as Rice Alliance Energy Venture Day and CERAWeek (2023), recognition as a “Fan Favorite” and “Chevron Choice” in pitch competitions, receipt of a National Science Foundation award for carbon-free hydrogen production research (2023), and independent third-party validation of its technology (2024).
Trey co-founded Origin, Inc., where he served as Director of Sales (2016–2017) and on the Board of Directors (2010–2014). In this role, he managed sales efforts, launched new products and services, motivated teams to meet targets, and upheld high customer service standards.
His earlier career in specialty pharmaceuticals spanned over a decade, marked by exceptional performance in injectable sales. At InterPace Biopharma – Fidia (2012–2014), as an Injectable Specialty Sales Professional, he drove business growth through prospecting, strategic planning, and competitive analysis. He played a key role in reestablishing Hyalgan in the market after its return from Sanofi-Aventis, targeting orthopedics, rheumatologists, anesthesiologists, pain management specialists, clinical pharmacists, and general surgeons—ranking #2 nationally out of 60 in 2014.
From 2001 to 2011 at Sanofi-Aventis, Trey excelled as a Medical Center Senior Specialty Professional in the Injectable Sales Group. He launched Arixtra and managed responsibilities for products including Lovenox, Hyalgan, Eligard, Ferrlecit, Arava, Actonel, and Ambien across a large South Texas territory (San Antonio–Rio Grande Valley). His call points included diverse specialists such as orthopedists, rheumatologists, neurologists, nephrologists, urologists, hematologists, and oncologists. He drove formulary wins, stocking, pull-through, and reimbursement success while leveraging network relationships for account access. Achievements included ranking #1 nationally for Eligard and Hyalgan in 2011 (with 417% attainment on Eligard and 175% total portfolio), multiple top national rankings for Hyalgan volume and market share (2004–2005), regional sales champion awards, and consistent elite performance honors.
Trey began his pharmaceutical sales career at Ortho Biotech (a Johnson & Johnson company) in 2001 as a Senior Specialty Sales Professional focused on Procrit for nephrologists, earning a Peer BioVision Award and consideration for Rookie of the Year. From 1997 to 2001 at Innovex, Inc. (a Quintiles company), he served as Territory Manager in Central and South Texas, handling contract sales for Glaxo-Wellcome, Zeneca, and Warner Lambert products—achieving top rankings such as #12 nationally for Valtrex (2000) and #16 for Flovent (1999).
Prior to entering sales, Trey worked as an Accountant/Consultant for Isaac C. Anthony, II CPA (1992–1997), managing tax strategies, data systems, reporting, audits, negotiations, and advisory services on corporate tax impacts.
Trey holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice (minor in Political Science) from Southwest Texas State University (1990–1992) and completed Post-Baccalaureate studies in Accounting at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (1994–1996). He was a candidate for the CPA exam and attended Northeast Louisiana University (1987–1989), where he was part of the 1987 NCAA National Championship football team.
A resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, Trey is committed to community service, volunteering with the Gulf Coast Humane Society and Feast of Sharing. His career reflects a consistent ability to drive revenue, innovate in competitive markets, lead teams, and transition successfully into emerging clean energy technologies focused on sustainable hydrogen production.
